Re: Getting Osage to give off that aged glow!

Sorry, I left the bow at a cabin so I don't have to tote it back and forth. No pics.

Re: Fox Royal Crown Longbow ???

I've owned a Royal Crown and a Triple Crown. I think they are well designed and built bows. When I shot a Toelke Whip I now own a Whip though. Just personal preference but I love the Whip's grip over the Fox.

Re: Getting Osage to give off that aged glow!

I left this selfbow under the tent with 3 jars of ammonia placed around it for about a week. It definitely colored it up to that golden hue that aged osage is known for. I will use this technique again.

Getting Osage to give off that aged glow!

A man who builds a lot of selfbows told me that you can speed up the age of osage(getting the color darker) by making a plastic tent and putting the bow and some ammonia in the tent. He said it speeds the process up and gives your bow that beautiful hue that aged osage has. Anyone done this or heard...

Re: Split Vision archery..can someone explain step by step?

The one thing that has proven to help those with target panic that I know of is blind bale shooting. You are thinking about your body, form, etc. NOT about "releasing the string at a target"! It will also help in your form. After a few days of this stand at the target and aim at the bullse...
