Re: Storage of bow

I leave mine strung too. If its. Bow that is out of rotation for the season i migbt unstring it. More to keep me from shooting it than it is because i am worried about damage. Many will suggest unstringing them when not in use to reduce stress on the bow. Many will say you are most likely to mess up...

Re: Glue or tape for wrap and rest

velcro works great and is easy to find.

I am a big fan of this stuff called 'super pad' too. I like it because it is very thin and it comes in sheets so you can cut whatever shape you like

gorrila brand double sided tape. If you have a very durable material like beaver tail I have even used superglue.

Re: Walk a straight line?

I did my last dozen with a straight clamp, left wing feathers and a very very slight offset. I havent noticed any difference. They are a little easier tl fletch though as you dont have to fight the quill to wrap around the shaft. The dozen before that i fletched up high back sheilds with as mucb hel...

Re: Big Jim Quivers?

I have one of the older models. I like how light it is. But i dont like how the hood and gripper are able to pivot. I guess it is a by design and supoosed to help with noise and vibration.

I prefere a more solid feeling quiver however. Ymmv. But for bucks you cant go wrong.

Re: Which carbon arrow

I have been shooting tbr victory vforce arrows for a few years now. I really like em. Cheap, strong, and consistant. I also have a dozen 600 spine centershots for lower pound bows. That smaller diameter can be a real help for getting a stiffer shaft to work out kf a low pound bow. I havent tried the...
