wood, I've never used Ramin shafts but have and still use poplar. It's heavier and stronger than POC.
Also stays straight.

And thank you Larry. And I still have that 500' of pipe. I'll cut them into 5' sections, Cost of the kids bow, absolutely nothing with the exception of shipping. I might have a thousand foot divided by 5 equals 200 kids bows.
