Searching for shaft source
They are pretty rare. But if anyone sees some 45-50. Or 50-55 5/16 wood shafts let me know. I currently have birch and they work fine. But I buy them as "dowels" by the hundred and will continue I use them for targets and stumping. But want some better quality for hunting. Out of 100 I will get about 25 that spine 30-35, 25 spine 35-40, and my prime.ranges which are 40-45 a round 20, 45-50 around 20 and 5 or 6 spine 50-54. I usually buy them in groups of 200 for bout 50. I figure about 10-15 per hundred are tomato stakes. My average shafts with 100 grain point in 40-50 spine weighs about 475 grains at 29".
