I told him we could work on the bow another time, that thing needed shot! So I dug up some arrows and gloves and away we went. I was running my mouth too much to think about taking pictures but I can post something..

Sprayed a thin coat of polyurethane on it to see how it dries and to help me see marks than need more sanding.

After spraying the riser with polyurethane last night I found it still tacky this morning. Had the same results with Tru-Oil in my last bow. Following the leadership of several bowers from the gang I went out and purchased some of this stuff.

Took it outside and sprayed the tips for a test, carried it back inside, and when the light hit it I noticed it looked dry. Touched it and shore-nuff wuz! So I sprayed the riser and could pick it up within a minute.

Oh man, I gotta remember that stuff. Keep us posted on how well it holds up please?

Tony, that pair of bows, are definitely your best yet from my view. Man they are super nice, and I love the wood combos. Well thought out and nicely done.
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
