Going through withdrawals here.

#1 Post by Carpdaddy »

With both bows finished I don't know what to do with myself. Luckily while shooting today a string began to break so I would have something to work on. I got in too much of a hurry to get the second bow finished that left an edge on at one tip. Now look..

But building a new string didn't take very long. Then I got to noticing that my super glue finish had some places that didn't look very well. Then I noticed the new sander Mark dropped off! Did I mention my withdrawals?

I know! Start a new bow that you can sell at Tradfest to finance your new spindle sander!

If I could afford the materials to build a bow then I could just buy the sander! :geek: But then I wouldn't have anything to use the sander on! Hum.

I see your point. Sort of a "Catch-22" scenario.
I have no doubt you will work it out somehow!

Maybe we should start a GoFundMe page to help Tony get his spindle sander

That sounds great  but it would only create more problems. I would have to start another page to buy bow materials! Couldn't have a new sander and nothing to sand on. I just don't see an end to it all.

Sell 2 bows you already have built Tony. One to fund the sander, annd one to fund materials for the new build.
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
