 :geek: After the ShadowCarp and CaptCarp name I got to thinking about a few bows that I never put a name on. One being the green bow and the other the one I forgot the pressure strip on. They got names now!

Cool!

What is a pressure strip Tony?
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.

A thin strip of metal or aluminum. One goes under the lams and one over when gluing up a bow. Without a pressure strip the the bands will put most of the pressure on the edges, the strip helps distribute the pressure evenly. Using air hose method effects are just the opposite, more pressure in center than sides. Forgetting it will often leave bubbles or dry spots under the glass or worse case, crack the glass.
