Box on my porch!
Came home to find a familiar looking box on my porch today, had a familiar name on it also! Wonder what ole KennyM has done this time?

Hard rock Maple.
Since the glass I won is Dark Brown the core wood doesn't have to be pretty, just effective. This appears to be much darker than the brown I have used in the past.

The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.

Wondering what kind of riser to use on the dark brown glass. I was thinking something light but all I got is some Marblewood, and it appearing have had Carp bait worm holes!

Maybe I could splice something together using the good side of the Marblewood with something else?

Is that padouk or bubinga next to the walnut or rosewood which ever? I like that combo!
It's meant to be Tony...they are already sitting there next to each other waiting!
