Re: Box on my porch!
So here ye go...
Draw weight is measured by AMO standards. In case you are not familiar with that here is what it means. Draw weight is measured from deepest part of the grip to 26 1/4". To make all work the same this is the correct way for a 28" draw. The other 1 3/4" is for the riser thickness. It may be more or less but that is what AMO standard requires so thick or thin it's the same on all.
Looks like it's hitting 43#, Perfect!
Just for Ha Ha's I drew on to 28", went to 50#.

Re: Box on my porch!
So at 28" on scale...would be a 29.750" draw?
Man Tony...tack driver! You like this one better then the Shadowcarp?

The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.

Wow that's a shooter! Beautiful bow too!
Re: Box on my porch!
Don't know how much I will like it until it is finished up.
I was just sharing the actual AMO draw weight measured by their standards. Many measure draw weight from back of bow to 28". Since risers vary so widely in thickness from front to back they decided to call all risers 1 3/4". So to be 43# @ 28" I check scale at 26 1/4" from deepest part of grip.
Hope I'm not corn-fusing folks in this.

Man you whipped that bad boy out fast. If it shoots as good as it looks it must be a real winner. Interesting about how they measure draw weight
Re: Box on my porch!
I'll give it a permanent test drive. Pm for addresss. Lol
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
