Re: Anyone can build a bow
I don’t want to get above anyone’s head here as I get high tech so try to stay with me. Trying some rubber silencers, or should I say rubber band silencer. String and two buck pack of bands.

Re: Anyone can build a bow
Oh no, after doing the strings I got to thinking, usually ot a good thing for me! I got lots of small cans of stain I picked up for .99 cents each laying around here, wondering what it would look like.. Probably not as pretty as the Rainbow I saw while on the front porch.

Re: Anyone can build a bow
Well I can’t stand it, I got to try it! I still have to do final sanding on the riser, and may sand it all off, but I had to see. So I am wanting opinions here, should I stain or go natural? It does show more grain stained??

Re: Anyone can build a bow
That looks good Tony,
I personally like the stain. I also think it will look sharp showing the natural beauty of the Curly Maple.
Some may have a slight issue with the darker stain and the Brown glass, but I like it.

Definitely stain

The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
