Thanks for the advice. I have it cut down to 11 inches. I plan on thinning it way down as it gets closer to the fades just to have a little more pretty wood to look at 😂I’m taking a little off at a time. I can always take a little more off but I’d have problems putting it back on if I went too far.

After a lot of time hand sanding, I’m finally happy with the handle fit. I roughed up the riser and handle, cleaned it with alcohol, and glued that baby on.
