Sorry for the delay on this... lots of shop innovations.

It is now a 4 bar composite spine.. with two individual wrought iron bars welded together welded to two individually twisted bars that were welded together and then twisted again. And then welded to a bar of W2 tool steel.

Here is where it is now:

The actual profile as it prepares to go into heat treat is actually different because I found a small crack towards the tip.. so I ended up having to shorten it a bit and bring the center line of the point back towards the spine.

I'm getting ready to clay coat the blade and then quench. More pictures later!
