Maddog bow collecting
I know several of you fellers own one or more of the Maddog bows built by Mike McCredy and have nothing but praise for them. Let's see your Maddog (s), hear the story behind them, and what you think of them.
Aim small, miss small!

This is my youngest son's bow who is 17. Its Bolivian Rosewood with osage stripe outlined in ash and black walnut limbs under black glass. 50lbs @29" 60" bow.
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.

Re: Maddog bow collecting
Jason, those look very slim and lithe. At 58" they are the same AMO length as a Grizzly.
Very nice bows!

Re: Maddog bow collecting
You can order them any length you want, even odd length, I nearly got a 59" just to be different
60" 46#@26
purpleheart with myrtle accent and black glass. The limb core is elm but not red elm. I forget the type.
here is how I rig it up for hunting.

Hey Jason, can you feel any difference between limb core materials? What do you think?
Re: Maddog bow collecting

Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
Re: Maddog bow collecti
I'm excited to see that one too dahyer, been having day dreams of a 56 inch predator lately, with red cedar limb cores Oh man
