Forum suggestion

#1 Post by Captainkirk »

This is a hunting forum; specifically a trad bowhunting forum, right?
Well, one thing I haven't seen is a thread for PRACTICING. Practice is essential to hunting, and what most of us are doing up to and through the hunting season. I think there should be a separate section dedicated to practice, targets, distance shooting tips, etc for those of us who spend more time in the back yard than in the field, as well as folks (like me) new to trad hunting that are gonna spend a whole lot of time instinctive shooting and practicing before venturing out with a traditional bow.
My .02 and worth every penny.....

I think they combine a lot in the campfire forum so your not bouncing all around, but I like your idea.

How about a general DIY section on the forum? For things hunters make aside from bows and arrows. Things we use like targets, game carts, shelters, tools and the host of outdoor gear or even game processing tools we make. Or even DIY taxidermy. Just a thought since I know trad guys are mostly DIY types.
