Got out this evening and walked around a couple of hours in a nearby woods, didn't see any orange except for mine. First time on this property this season, didn't see any deer either.

there won't be any new perch pics from tonight. however, Chezney and I will be out. hopefully a fat doe walks by one of us. should be a good night with the weather moving in.

My trip was short today. Got somewhere under 100 pounds of clothing on to beat the freezing temps, loaded my stuff in the old Tahoe, then jumped in and hit the key; barely tuned over! Dead battery, I think it decided to go bad suddenly, didn't want to hold charge. :shock:

That's been my experience... luxury if they wind down and give you warning..most of my failures were Dit-dit-dit, dit... or nothing at all!
