Hey, may not have been as perfect as you may have wanted, but you got er done anyway and put some protein on the menu! I love seein' and hearin about them first trad deer!

Awesome job Chris, and congrats! When it comes to harvesting a deer with trad equipment, we all want to make that heart shot, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. You got her anyway, so in the end it's all good! Really nice write up, I love a happy ending!!!

Many years ago when toying with wheelie bows I took three deer in a row that I hit in that same area (not intentionally), my hunting buddies have called it the TJ kill zone ever since! :lol: :lol: There must be a large artery back there since all were easily recovered. Not encouraging anyone to shoot for that area, just sharing some of those strange experiences. :lol:
