End of season scouting adventure

Weather warmed up nicely today so I hit the woods. Just quietly slipped around since the ground was wet and checked out the scenery. Had not hunted this property this year.

See the little orange piece of feather on my riser. Been using it ever since Graps shared that tip, great little trick that keeps your arrow from falling off so much. Happened more times than I care to say before this.

Thanks. The Squirrel in the picture above was low on the big tree right in front of my bow. Another one was slipping by behind me, my arrow marks the spot in the limb he was on, just above my arrow. Yea; still a miss! :lol: :cry:

Out walking again yesterday before the winter weather hits again. Walked upon a very large and interesting mushroom.
