Good luck and and have fun.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Had a pretty decent buck slip through eating acorns. No shot.
Happiness is a tight chain!
Re: Views from the Perch 2018-2019
Today was the last day of Archery season.
Next weekend is the start of the general hunting season.
This wasn't the greatest sunset, but it was the last one for this Archery season.
I didn't see a thing this evening, but when I got down to the Alfalfa field there was a Bull standing just inside the fence next to the road. He had 4 other elk with him. He better watch it or he'll be steaks and burger next week.

Re: Views from the Perch 2018-2019
left hand view .
right hand view .
had three doe come in from the right at 5 pm
they were wasting no time cutting across the field, I took a long shot at one and missed right over her back.
instead of scaring them off, this made them very curious, they all trotted in close to see what the bow noise was. If I had an automatic bow, one would be down!!
by the time I was able to dock another arrow without detection two of them had moved out of range, one knew something was up and stayed close by to stomp and snort and try to circle behind me for about a half hour. eventually she gave up and trotted off to join her friends.
I have never tried hunting white tail like this before and it has been a lot of fun but also very frustrating. If i would had set my chair up 10 yards farther ahead those deer would have came in at spitting distance.

I would love to hear some advice on where and how to choose a spot for a ground sit or stand location.
