In this stand I have had some good encounters this season. My next post in Bowhunting experiences is while sitting in this stand.

last weeks perch, cat creek, behind a pile of flood debris

hot day, about 80 degrees in the evening. short set after work from 5 to 7 . didnt see anything

todays set

two buttes state wild life area
in a big old patch of weeds

cooler weather 43 degrees starting out so i took some time off work sat from 3 to 7

saw 2 bucks at front edge of the opposite wall of weeds working their way into the winter wheat field from around 5 40 to 6 30

encounter was about 45-50 yards out... just close enough to make you really think :)
