Was just in Colorado mountains and saw three elk. Probably gonna have to move there now.

going to hunt elk in Idaho again this year. hunt with bear Kodiak magnum 55 an 61 lbs bows. anyone have some input on arrows and broadheads. have to be fixed blades in Idaho.

Welcome gooshaven, glad to have you here.
What's the arrow length that you need? That can make a difference in what spine arrow to use, as well as the weight arrow head.

Welcome aboard, Goosehaven! Drop by the Welcome Wagon thread and tell us a little more about yourself and your gear. The boys here don't bite...well, OK, maybe a little...anyway, glad to have ya here!
Kind of hard to recommend broadhead style until we know a little more about your arrow type and intended weight, FOC, etc.

Good to have you here on Tradhunter.

Where abouts are you going in Idaho? My son lives there and he is in Elk all the time over there. One thing I think is cool there is as a non resident you can buy an Elk tag over the counter for some of the areas.

28 1/2 in traditional gold tip 500, gpi 8.6, and 150 grain 2 blade stinger. will be in salmon area.
