What did you do today?

Come on in and sit a spell. There's a seat for you around the campfire.

That sounds like a good day.

Got a couple of nice NY Strip steaks and cooked them on the charcoal grill. I also made some creamed asparagus to go with them.
Yep, made some husband points. :)

Planting in the garden and baked some walleye I caught yesterday

left em whole, I thought it was cool, but my wife didn't think much of the heads being left on. Oh well more cheek meat for me :)

Church twice, study time between, stopped to visit daughter and granddaughter after Church. Come home, read last couple post here, and got hungry for some strange reason!

Meetings with noise noise noise for first half of day. Came home and was blessed with a severe storm that rolled through and knocked out the power which drove me from the house. Sweet sweet silence, but the sounds of nature. Cool, and damp woods ripe with the smell that a heavy rain brings, creek in the distance. Stopped, sat, and contemplated a good while. Why don't I do this more often......

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Sometimes it's good to just have a place to just ponder. ;)
