What do you all use to secure a piece of leather to an arrow shelf?

Nice, was thinking of Duco cement because I have some.... Not sure what the difference is.

Waterproof Wood glue usually, have used Barge cement, and even super glue.

All my rests have been self adhesive, but I would go with Barge Cement.

You can remove Barge Cement with your thumb by just rubbing it off. And it holds good.

Nice, I'll have to pick some of that up.

I think barge cement sucks, at least the kinds I have tried, idk if im harder on stuff or if the warm dry weather here has something to do it but it just doesnt hold for me. even the rest and strike plate than came on my toelke were loose and moved around after just a few weeks of me using it.

I like double sided tape or superglue if its something like beavertail or some other leather I know wont wear out.

I have bows with leather grips that have been on the bows for years and the leather is so warn that it is smooth and shiny. Not a single sign of comeing loose.
I'm very surprised you have had bad luck with it. I have never had trouble with it.
Maybe the surface wasn't cleaned good enough.
The only thing I don't like about it is, it can be stringy when you are putting it on.

beats me, I like the idea of it and wished it worked better for me. On my Pika I had to redo the shelf, strike plate, and top part of the grip. all here wiggly and shifting around. double sided tape for the grip, and a bit of superglue fixed the shelf. good thing its beaver tail because I dont even want to think about trying to remove it now lol
