I love it. I’m dancing on the squall line.
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.

It was a happy Fathers Day for me! My two daughters, son in laws, and grandchildren showed up at my Church today. Then brought dinner to my house, and bought me an old man swing for the porch. I am blessed.
Here’s me and the crew, one with my Mother who turned 83 last Sunday. Another with the Wifey, daughters, and grandchildren. And another with grandchildren. Shady looking crew.

Carpdaddy,
What great photos!!!! I saw your post and everybody's face is shining!!! (I say that In a manly way of course...) What a great report to hear that your day was so great!!!!
Mine went well too! I took my Wife, daughters', Son in law, and grand kids down to the McKenzie River and went swimming! The grand kids played in the water.... my wife got to spend some more time with her daughter... and my German Shepherd ran up and down the river bank making sure his family didn't go in water that was too deep!
Respectfully,
Donnie

I forgot it was Father's Day...my son and granddaughter and myself were all busy in the North Woods fishing, shooting and stumping.
Aim small, miss small!

Captainkirk,
"North Woods".... Now that's a term I haven't heard since I lived in Wisconsin!!!! I hope you had a great time!!! There is a little lake up near "Lake of the Woods WI. / Watersmeet MI." that I loved to go to and fish. About this time of year (at least I think it was about the middle to late June,) the firefly's' were all over and I would take a canoe out on the lake at night! Between the reflection of the stars... and the fireflies on the lake... It was absolutely breathtaking!!! (We dont have any fireflies here in Oregon.... )
Respectfully,
Donnie

Donnie;
Yep, they are "North Woods" to us flatlanders here in the midwest. There is a family cabin (no longer owned by my immediate family, but now in the good hands of relatives that let us use the place) up near Grand Rapids MN that we like to escape to now & again. There is a thread here somewhere of my last journey up there...I'll see if I can find it...with a bunch of pictures. My crappy cell phone was acting up this year so I didn't get a whole bunch of photos this year, but I will post them as soon as I can.
Yup, here's the thread;
