What's your arrow barrel and bow box look like?

Come on in and sit a spell. There's a seat for you around the campfire.

What's your arrow barrel and bow box look like?

#1 Post by Jamesh76 »

Here's part of mine. Probably got 200 birch shafts not pictured, about 40 arrows I practice with or on hunting rig in quivers. Have a box of Turkey feathers I need to finish grinding also and probably 200 feathers elsewhere. Some tuff in there for my sons wheel bow, but the majority is traditional gear. Anyone else a gear hog. Seems like more and more I add to it. Got 10 1816 autumn orange arrows on the way I'll see if they fly better than my woodie out of my black hunter. Wood shafts from 30 to 65# 5/16,11/32 and a few 23/64, 300,350,400,500,60 spine carbons, 1716,1816,1916,2016 eastons. I think I got tuning covered. Point ranges glue on and screw in 100 to 300 grains. Broadhead adapters to make any weight I need. Probably 80 magnus trad, 18 buzzcuts/stingers, zwickey, tusker, magnus, carbon express.

Yup. those barrels or boxes of arrows start to become an "art form", after a while. :D

ooh, knotty pine. I really miss knotty pine. It blends perfectly with old bows and arrows, and deer mounts and turkey mounts and even funny squirrel mounts.

I love it. Stone chimney and all. You know, if you lift those slates up, you will probably find nitecrawlers to fish with in the morning :)
Although it works better if they are sitting on dirt. It looks like you laid a layer of small gravel down first.
