Hmm I was refinishing a bow for a buddy (hoping once he sees his bow all shined up he will get the trad bug and ill get a shooting partner) anyway his string was old and sad. I couldn't bring myself to put that junk string back on the spiffed up bow, but at the same time didnt want to spend 20 bucks getting one to my door.

Saw your guys comments about stilldub strings and wow, cheap and nice, I got 2 made. just as nice a string as any other I have, very fast turn around, very good packaging. I even messed up on the string length (brain fart said i needed a 54" string for my 60" kodiak) he emailed me back to make sure that is what I actually wanted. It pleasure doing business with him.

I was serious. I mean, how could anyone's wife argue that point? "It's not another bow, honey...it's a string-stretcher!"
And you wouldn't be lying!

I wish he did skinny strings and D-10. I'd be set....

Honestly I have not, but all I've ever seen folks that use him talk about has been conventional strings.

Still making my own strings and loving it.
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
