Finally one of my kids will be going to school starting Monday. What this means is that I will have more time to build my bow. Today is actually a major update I was finally able to get some funds together and purchase hunting the Osage bow and a pair of rawhide backing strips from Clay Hayes. Probably on Monday I'm going to finish chasing my ring is best I can and draw out the shape of the bow on the blank. I hope you all have had a wonderful summer and I look forward to conversing with you all more now That my life seems to be stabilizing.

The adventure begins here. I have been waiting many months for these two items and finically have them. Can't wait to share what I learn. I can already say I feel like I have found a kindred spirit in dean torges.

Let me know your reviews on the book. I'm considering delving into the self-waters, maybe over the winter? Tony, a pretty good read IYHO?
