A fun morning

#1 Post by Carpdaddy »

At least it was until a ten year old boy began whooping up on us! He made a homemade Rabbit target from a small lead shot bag. After warming up we backed up to what I stepped off after shooting to be 27 yards. The boy shot the Rabbit off on the first try!!

The boy had shot a few arrows in his time. Sometimes he would rush but when he didn’t he could shoot!
Shooting a 45# recurve a friend of mine gave him. Of course his draw wasn’t 28”, but I was impressed.

But these old ugly fellers much like myself didn’t fare so well. Just an occasional stroke of luck!

The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
