Hi everyone, A buddy and I are planning an archery elk hunt in CO in a few years. We want to purchase an OTC tag and do a DIY hunt. We are most likely going to do a truck camping style of hunt. I haven't seen one, except in old adds and never used one. You still have to get up the tree. What will you use; tree spikes? I think some public land outlaws them. Places that plan to harvest the wood aren't fond of them either - messes up the veneer. That's probably another reason I always used l...
