Minwax also makes a wipe on poly that might go on easier. Like I said, I have never done arrows. You probably know this....thin coats are always better.

Just before I set the can down near the heater, I read DON"T SHAKE! :( Not sure what will happen to it, maybe won't cure right? I believe it's to keep the bubbles down. You should be okay. You may run into a 6 to 8 hour dry, but that is depending on the room temp as they dry along with humidity lev...

That's crazy for a black bear. Biggest I ever saw was at about 200 yards. I tried to put a stock on him with my takedown recurve that I made. He stood maybe a foot over this large stump down at the lower end of a clear cut. I don't know much about sizing up a bear and really didn't think much about ...

I looked right at those pictures and didn't notice that those limbs were not ILF :oops:
Since I was thinking warf, I just went with it.
Either way I think it is so cool to be able to take an old compound riser and repurpose it as a traditional bow.

You might be able to cut some of that gray wrap around pipe insulation.
