I wanted to mention that most of the risers I’ve changed over has an alignment tab or nub at the base of the limb pocket that has to come out. Also I remove about 1/6 from the base of the pocket, so the limbs will fit without sanding the bottom of the limbs. It’s not hard to dowith a Dremmel and deb...

Jason, I think you’re on the right track with the compound thing. If you could get a Black Bear or Black Panther at a pawn shop and use it for awhile you’d have the riser when you run across some limbs, if you want to change it over at a later date.
