Well, better now than as a finished bow.. ☺

So, down to one bow in the making.
At floor tiller my ash stave gave out, thinking it's down to improper drying.

But this one worries me a bit, right at the edge midway up the limb.. Do I scrap it, fill it with glue or just keep on keeping on?

Well, not a great start. Was fresh wood and it cracked in the riser, but best possible cracking if it had to crack.

She's five. Easy to look good before tiller. ☺ I'll post my progress.

It is a good chopper, kukri inspired. Made it to be complemented with a leatherman super tool 300 to be all you needed to make a bow. In a pinch that is. Hard to give up the rasp and sandpaper if you don't have to. ☺
