The Colorado Parks & Wildlife are in the process of planning game seasons and dates for 2020-2024 hunting seasons and conducted a survey in January. Apparently there is a major push to close NR archery OTC elk tags statewide and make all GMUs archery Limited Draw Units. This may be the last year...

"Depending on which cop ask you, that response might be get you put on the ground. Just saying." Being a 65 yo man, I might expect a rookie or a cop with a chip on his shoulder to react this way, but a wiser more respectful experience cop would say "please hand it to me unopened"...

I am from Mass and have bow hunted elk DIY in Colorado for 9 times of the last 15 years. I have been successful twice during those years, first one with a compound bow (2003) and the second with a recurve bow (2012), passed on one and missed one. I consider a pocket knife or pocket knife with a clip as a tool that has been in my pocket for 57 years of my 65 yo life. If approached by police if I had a weapon I would say no its a tool, a weapon is a frame of mind.
