Wouldn't stop walking through, if I'd been paying attention and seen him coming maybe been better but didn't fell comfy with the s...

Was moving my stuff off of that bad pic website and found at pic. There is a big boy still in there as I ran across some tracks that were Xtra large to say the least.

Re: scouting day??

Thanks y'all! I can talk, Just envisioning early season back straps! Liver and onions, heart, burger. --- Good scout today too, will write it up, these woods a little prettier though I just don't have the confidence in this area as my old "Cambodia" woods. Thunder boomers cut me some slack...

Re: scouting day??

Well between thunder boomers the scouting was almost discouraging! Let me explain. So two years really since I been in this area but I have hunted this area for 25yrs. Been a wet yr so knew it was gonna be a lot of water before I ever went. Get there and the whole place has changed grown up so thick...

Loc On LEM!

I hate they discontinued that stand! I used to use them so much as a teen and into my 20s. I could take that set and some rope style steps and be up a good tree in minutes. Now I have one still out in the woods from last season I need go get. I was thinking about needing another. Well went digging a...

scouting day??

Ahh, just sitting here at the kitchen table, cup of coffee thinking about walking some familiar woods and seeing what the deer are up to. Could go out in the kayak or the skiff but don't want to go out there with the he summertime boating traffic. Some of y'all's pics and posts have me slobbering fo...

Re: broad heads

55# bow shooting 28.5" axis 400s - I shoot 225 or 250 up front. I went through the whole "Ashby" style tuning arrows deal this past yr even trying his style of feathers. Now I went back to my 4 and five inch feathers though! Think your arrow spine is too light and then also think once...

Re: safety harness??

I have used the generic strap style harnesses for years and got along with them well enough. The biggest problem with them is unraveling the mess that they become no matter how you pack them away. A couple months ago, I bought a vest style harness on clearance at menards, I can't remember the brand...
