Well I have taken the weekend off, hopefully we can resume next week. I do have more progress to post but got too much study to do. Got to teach Sunday school and preach twice tomorrow.

Not much left to do on the riser now but to take it out for a test drive. Lay it on the form, clamp it down watching your ends that they come to the desired length lines drawn on your form. Mark your center from the center line on your form. How do you know it is actually the center of your riser, w...

Now to sand the upper sides, these ends must be sanded or feathered down to a paper thin edge if you don't want to have gaps at the ends of your riser, I don't recommend these gaps so take the time to get them right. Your wood must separate with some going under and some over these edges. Be careful...

Notice I said in the last post to saw to the outside edges of the lines, now to sand on down to the lines getting a smoother and straighter surface.
