Re: My 2015 buck

Yes, the reasons I shoot the light weight bow are multiple. ... First, my target butts last forever, because the arrows just bounce off, and coupled with the use of "shoot and see" targets,,i can see if i actually hit the target somewhere or not....usually not, but who knows, i get lucky o...

Re: What happened to fletching glue?

I use duco a lot on my woodies, and with the finish i use, i have to use it, or tape, or nitrocellulose. I have found it on occation here at Ace hardware stores, but most times I order it from supplies stores like 3R or Kustom King. 3R sells it for ball park $3.75. I think Ace was closer to $5 but i...

Re: My 2015 buck

Wow, that is a great buck, loved the story and the fact that you did it with a 45# bow. Thanks. What's unusual about a 45# bow, Tony? Please tell me...as I now have three of them... Hahaha! Y'all are funny! I have 3 45lb, a 40lb, and a 50..... Honestly my 50 is a dog. I've had great 5...

Re: My 2015 buck

I will add that's a nice looking samick also ! Yeah, when I got it, I was pretty surprised at how good it actually looked. For the money, it's hard to beat. If you can imagine, I went from an SAIII black widow bow, to this Samick! lol! Quite a difference to say the least. I mean I have no complaint...

My 2015 buck

He was the 3rd mature buck by me that morning. Im glad things worked out as they did, as he was a tad bigger then the first ones. I had to yell at the top of my lungs to get him to stop for the shot. He was pretty much broad side at 17 yards, and was looking to far south east of my position to peg m...

Re: Welcome

Hello, wanted to drop in and say hi and tell a short bit about myself. I have had a bow in my hands since I was about 7 years old, so roughly 41 years. Of that, about 10 years was messing with wheels in my late teens to mid 20's. Cut my teeth on traditional archery, then strayed, and then right back...
