That's a good option, Tony. Clever, too! (if you hunt from a stand...)

This quiver thing is like shooting, it's a never ending persuit, I constantly change and dream up new ideas. Here is some examples. Up first are some back quivers, none of which cost me more than a whopping five bucks, well maybe with tax.
Left to right..
Something I picked up second handed for $5, I use it daily when going out shooting.
PVC pipe covered with camo tape and old gun strap I had.
$5 Wally World quiver purchased after season & strap, bought two.
Other $5 special is sticking up out of free backpack that came with boys shoes. I use this often when hunting from ladder stands or fixed stands, carry all I need plus quiver sticks up out of.
Camo is a $5 hip quiver, never liked it. I'm a big spender!

No need to get too fancy now on my bow quivers, highest priced one is the big Jim's that had been dropped in the mud at a shoot and he offered it to me for $30. Selway came on a bow I traded for on one of my Carp bows. The rest are cheap things I made from a scrap something.

It's surprising how something so simple can work best, the backpack with the cheap quiver works great, just pull it out and hang it on a limb or something. Only so I can easily get other stuff out as needed.

I think I am going to try my hand at making one of those storage quivers myself this evening, just might even get myself some brownie points if it will actually help me keep my arrows together

as far as carrying arrows goes I have been using my back quiver more and more lately. I greatly shortened the strap on it to where the strap pretty much rides right under my left armpit, this has made it a lot easier to put arrows back in and I dont have to adjust it so much to draw arrows out. I am really enjoying it.
