Hunting arrows
With bow season just a few weeks away I just finished my hunting Arrows. These are Sitka Spruce shafts that I put a 9” tail taper from 11/32” to 5/16”. 60-65 spine with 4” shield feathers that I burned to shape.
Good luck to everyone this year!

Nice looking arrows. Now lets hope for some red on the yellow.

Re: Hunting arrows
Really beautiful! I'm not personally much for yellow but those are gorgeous!
Are those Hill heads or what are they?

The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.
Re: Hunting arrows
Yes those are hill heads. I usually shoot Simmons heads but they aren’t making the glue on heads that I shoot anymore
Re: Hunting arrows
I heard through the grapevine they are going to start making glue on tree sharks again.
Re: Hunting arrows
I have some tree sharks but I think that they are a little too wide (2”)for my 45# bow
Re: Hunting arrows
Beautiful arrows!
