It's kind of embarrassing how long it took me to get these shafts ready, but I finally got around to tuning the shafts that James graciously sent me. I have to say they are amazing. Here are some shots.
These are shots at 10 and 20 yards with full length shafts. To my delight... I have not cut anything off yet and may leave them as is. Shots are groups of three with one bare shaft.
Thanks again James!

Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
Re: James is da man
You are welcome. It looks as they came out right about where I thought they would weight wise. 534 grains is good weight for a 5/16 wood shaft with probably a 100 grain head?

Very nice.

Re: James is da man
It's a 125 grain head. I am actually using my normal 11/32 heads. But these shafts are shooters for sure. As usual they are better than I am.really good results as I was testing a brand new string and new rest. I love how when you love a bow and get to know it, you know exactly what it needs.

Ah, so I was really close when I said 500 finished weight with a 100 grain head!
Re: James is da man
Very.. the two weight pics above are actually two different arrows. Very impressive sir.
