Well here we go. First attempt at a selfie. Hopefully with y’alls wisdom and support I can turn one of these into a functional bow. That short log was to small for me but I figured my youngest would want a bow like dads. First concern is there was some sap that came out of it when I cut it. Not sure if this will be a problem or not. Should’ve been cut a month ago.
Wow. I've been working on a stave for a while. Crap wood though. Shame it cost so much to my door. Wish I had a place to harvest some. Good luck.have you read hunting the osage bow yet?
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
