First thing to meet us on the course was a zombie riding a cart right toward us. There was a sign saying shoot him in the head or your dead! Steve and I died quickly, Mark managed a neck shot.

I think Steve is so good at it because he has a lot of experience hunting his arrows.

All in all we had a great time shooting and gave each other a lot of grief.

Some targets were a little hard to spot, even harder to shoot!

This part is called the smoker round, you got to find the target before you can shoot it. Usually buried behind lots of brush and trees.

Steve is too old of a rat in the barn to get caught by this kitten! He caught me about to take his picture retrieving his arrow and jumped beside mine and posed. I'll let him tell where his arrow was on this shot. Yes he would redeem himself on other targets but I was the one taking pictures and I know when not to take one!

man that looks like a blast. I need to think hard and try to find an excuse to make it out there next year so I can show you guys how a real professional arrow hunter can miss a target.

Some targets were easy to see but took some guts to shoot! Like the iron Turkey and the poor Carp among the gators. The Turkey cost us some arrows, Luckily we stopped at a booth and bought a few $1.00 aluminum arrows just for such occasions. We still choose to shoot the gators rather than the Carp.
