Knife blanks

My friend and I are considering trying our hands in a couple of knives. Tall the knife makers what brand or where do you get your blanks? Or do you all make your own?

This one caught my eye from Crazy Crow. $65. That Damascus looks so good I'd be tempted to do either a clear handle or one with skeletonized, maybe a blackish something with a clear insert.
