trade snuffers

#1 Post by Tradman »

I have 12 150gr snuffers like new, three 180 gr snuffers, (180gr hardened by me) and the snuffer tamer kit...what ya got to swap me for all of it? all of the 150's have had the degree of angle changed with the snuffer tamer and are very sharp. :D

I would trade you something if they hadn't been put on the tamer.

The tamer changes the bevel degree which allows them to be sharper.

I din't know that. What does it do make the angle on the edge less. I believe that is what would make them be able to be sharper isn't it? I know it would make it a more durable edge.

it makes the degree less which is how they get sharper, the tamer is two files placed at a 25 degree angle side by side on a wooden platform.you run the heads over the tamer then i run them over my diamond stone then strop them on the leather part of the tamer.very sharp....i like my centaur big game heads more so off they go....what you got to swap? these snuffers are all like brand new.

Are they glue on heads or screw on heads?

Do you know what the inserts weigh or what the heads would weigh without the inserts?
