Seems like a rough years so far. My Sister passed away this morning... We knew it was coming...but it never seems to help.

She got out about an hour ago. Scariest moment of my life....
I was waiting in her room when a nurse came in and said "the surgeon needs to see you downstairs"....thought I was gonna pass out. After waiting a half hour pacing the floor like a freakin' maniac, he comes in to tell me things went fine.
I think I need a drink....
Chris, my deepest condolences on the loss of your sister.
Thank you all for your prayers. It means a lot.

Glad things went fine. Don't want to alarm you but do keep an eye on her to be sure she is getting better. My wife had that surgery this past fall and it was looking good first few days, then it began to go downhill. After a few more days of her being in severe pain, being back to the ER twice, they finally discovered that the Dr had missed a small duct or something, it was leaking into her. They sent her back to surgery, repaired the problem, and since that she began to improve. This is likely a rare thing but those folks are human, they make mistakes as we all do. Hope your experience is much better.
Chris, sorry to hear of your loss, prayer sent for you and your family.

She came home this afternoon (finally!) She's healing well but still having, ummm..."tummy problems"....which the surgeon said was to be expected.
Thanks for keeping her in your prayers, boys.
