I'm getting a bell and need to know if anyone has tanned and worked with one. Can it be split? I think I know the ansber. But asking for advice.

I've never worked with something like that but leather is perty much the same.
I have seen sows ear purses that have been stained different colors, so why wouldn't they similar?
It might be a little tricky to de flesh it but if you have taxidermy skills, you should be good to go.
Let us know how this goes, I'm really curious to see what you are going to do with it.
