I've studied a bit about brain tanning but never did put it in action whole heartedly. Makes one nice supple leather.
The element of surprise can never be replaced by persistence.

The American Natives have supposedly been quoted to say, that every animal has enough brains to tan their own hide except for the bison.
I've often wondered if they ever tanned opossum....lol.

I've heard that said about some people i have workedwith over the years.
Someone would say " They don't even have enough brains to tan there own hide." :roll:
