The field test is a success.
I have had this knife on my belt for a few days now and I don't even notice it is there. It hasn't poped open on its own yet nor has it been poking me in the side when I sit in my truck with the seat belt buckled.
And today I used the knife while cutting ropes for my hunting blind, and it was much handier than having to reach into my pocket.
Just a flick of my thumb and the snap pops loose and out slides the knife ready to be opened and just as easy, the knife slides back in and the snap is easily snapped shut.
This design is a keeper.
