Jose, you gotta stop posting pictures of moose with antlers glued to their heads. It's not funny and very demoralizing to us common folk...

Well Kirk I am a small guy..  . Seriously I was truly blessed to have an opportunity at such an animal. I am just really lucky a few times to be at the right place at the right time. No skill or secrets here...... trust me just watch me target shoot! I hope no one thinks I am bragging about the animals I am fortunate enough to get. That is not my intention at all. I am just sharing some of my experiences in the woods. Not all turn out good either, trust me. ;)

I tie the string tracker on between the broadhead and the arrow. If I don't get a pass through then my Cliff's lock in and I get a single string to follow. If I am fortunate to get a pass through then I get two strings to follow, one is just red.

I'm liking the string tracker idea a lot. Experienced any negative issues when using it?

Only negative is walking to and from my hunting area. Seems like I would catch the string on everything and it would pull out without me knowing it. I fixed this with a 35 cent cork from Ace hardware. I put the cork in the tracker opening until I get to my spot then remove it to hunt. Other than that I love it! No more worries about hunting in the rain or for those shots that have minimal blood.

You do need to remember to take the cork out. :?

WOW very nice buck. Congratulations. I like those string trackers too Graps mentioned and he is right. The guy that owns the company is a real nice person. I usually run into him at Compton and Kzoo each year.
