Only 90 degrees outside today, but left early this morning, checking on, and moving some stands. The bottom land is still quite sloppy, sure grows up fast.

Nothing to do with hunting, just something I was stopped by on my way home, only in Ky!

You won’t find nothing that wet on this end of the state Tony. It is bad dry for this time of year. Get any ticks?

I hunt near a lake here in Ok and took a walk sat. to see how bad the flooding was. I was able to walk close enough to one stand site, on some rr tracks, to see a tree I climb. The lowest limb on the tree is 12-14 ft up, the water was up to that limb.

This area is along the Cumberland River, a lot of it has been under water during flood season, you can see the muddy line on the trees and weeds. We could have taken a boat to check on our stands earlier this year. But it does help with the tick and snake issues; skeeters are another story! Right now hundreds of acres of its bottom land is planted in corn and soybean.
