Back at it again today. New stand no deer seen. None on camera for the last month at this spot. But I have seen them go through there. Lots of persimmon trees to eat up on also. Kinda scratching my head on this spot....

I'd love to use a trail cam like that, but setting one up on PHL is just asking to have it 'liberated'. That looks to be a really nice one, James.

Yeah. Hedge as they call it here. That's what I'm sitting in.

Very hard to find one that's fairly straight without many knots or twist. The one pictured i a limb off the main trunk. Has a consistent bend and twist.

haven't felt real well a couple days this week. 3" or so of ran between tonight and Sunday evening. I plan to trim up a couple stands I haven't checked after work today. Hoping to hunt them on Monday AM.

Well got soaked in the rain. Trimmed and checked 3 stands on private property. Went over to a public spot and found a heavily traveled large trail atop a ridge. Never seen anyone hunt up there before. Will try it sometime. Marked a couple spots.

Good on you, James. One can never have too many options when it comes to stand sites.
