Nock’s 2019 hunting thread.

Back at it this evening. Hunting from the ground. I’m standing in a creek. Bank is about waist high. Got good cover in front of me except for my shot. My food plot makes a horse shoe right here. They almost have to pass through this pinch. 12-13 yard max shot.

Pic from the field I’m sitting to the right close to that y’all poplar tree. To the left there is a deep gully that goes up through field and into woods. They don’t cross it. They will come down out into field and either make a turn back into grown up stuff or stay out in foodplot.

Tomorrow opening day of gun season. I’ll have my oldest out in the morning. Been a lot of action this week at his stand. I won’t be to far from him.

Great hunts all around this morning. I saw 3 does and 3 bucks. Maybe a fourth not sure if it was one of the others. My son saw 8 total. Couple were bucks. There was 6 does out in field checking my four wheeler out when we came out. Wife was the first shot of morning. She took one of the bucks I’ve been getting pics of. 13pt. Mainframe 10 with three kickers off back.
